It's probably the most balanced thing in Guild Wars.

Why? Lets look at last year's builds. I don't know if this year's will be better or worse though.

Warrior: Overall, pretty balanced. Big pressure, but can still be shut down. Not so good IAS, but can't have frenzy idiots running around.

Ranger: Great survival bar. It somewhat looks like the current Melshot builds.

Monk: My overall favorite. Smiting for a nice amount of damage, conditional and unconditional KD, awesome. Plus, they have a fair amount of healing.

Necromancer: Poor elite. Good melee shutdown. Enchant removal is a big plus vs monks who has vigorous spirit or healing breeze on.

Mesmer: I personally didn't play it during last year. Not bad damage, can shut down melee a bit. Good energy maintainment. Annoying rupts like most mesmer

Elementalist: A bit OPed in my eyes. Great damage, melee shutdown, snares, e-maintainment and healing. Ouch, has it all.

Assassin: Great spike potential. With old Hidden Caltrops it was a great snare. Downside, slow recharge spike.

Ritualist: Most OPed. Great elite. WoW is amazing, plus Wielders Boon. Good damage, and ok e-maintainment.

Paragon: Not much to offer to the team. Best part is IMS. Most underpowered class.

Dervish: I played this a lot too. Overall, great and fun. Good pressure, but can also be shutdown.

I just wanted to type that, fun to think about how fun last year's Costume Brawl was ^^.

Why does everyone keep insinuating that it'll be a mini pet at the end of the quest chain? Although, that would be nice and I'd enjoy it immensely, but, that doesn't explain why it wouldn't be able to be done again next year.

Am I the only one who finds that sneakily suspicious? They can do a lot of things for this year's event, but, nothing that really would limit it to being one year only. Hmm.

Edit: That leads me to believe that the reason the quest chain has nothing to do with Halloween as an event, unless they're killing off the Mad King and replacing him with a gigantic blob of orange jello. I don't see the latter happening, so, it leads me to believe that the quest chain is limited because at the end we'll see or be informed of something that pertains to something other than Halloween.

Maybe an Underworld re-vamp? Perhaps the "surface" collapses down and it's gone for good. Take that, Permasins. Ecto ooze shall leak from the Smite Crawler corpses. Mm. Oozy.

By the way, did costume brawl give gamer pointz? I can't remember, but i'm assuming that's the reason I bothered doing it.

Not so, collectors usually show up over the span of a couple days, just be patient, you have a whole week. Use the time waiting to farm more.

Quoting for emphasis since this is brought up every single year. The same goes for the Transformed citizens.

Most likely because they're not using it as an explanation for it being a one year deal, they're just saying..
